Who We Are

PAMENCAP – MANOVIKAS

PAMENCAP is a registered non-profit organization in Karimnagar, Telangana, India, founded in April 1988 by of our founding Secretary Mr. K. Balakishan Rao. It was Registered under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana) Public Societies Registration Act, 1988, with guidance from the National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped (NIMH).

PAMENCAP has grown from its humble beginnings with just three students at Manovikas Special School to become a premier organization serving the needs of the intellectually challenged community in Karimnagar.

PAMENCAP runs, Manovikas Special School and Vocational Training Centre, that provide inclusive education, vocational skills, and a supportive environment for independent living for the intellectually challenged.

Our Team

At the core of PAMENCAP’s success is our dedicated team of professionals and parents who work tirelessly to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for our students. Many of our special educators and teaching staff are parents themselves, bringing a deep understanding and commitment to the cause.

We are grateful for the continuous support and expertise provided by the Director and staff of NIMH Secunderabad, who have visited our school numerous times over the past 34 years to conduct parent workshops, seminars, and provide invaluable guidance.

Our Impact

Over the years, PAMENCAP has made significant strides in improving the lives of intellectually challenged individuals and their families. Some of our notable achievements include:

  • Bringing social awareness and increasing the strength of our student body to over 70 children
  • Offering vocational training in 10 different products, enabling our students to develop practical skills
  • Employing 18 qualified, experienced, and dedicated staff members to provide high-quality rehabilitation and training
  • Empowering individuals like R. Satish, B. Sadanandam, and Manoj to lead independent lives and secure employment
